"Not in the beauty of the colour, nor of the brush lies the greatness of this image, but in My grace." (Diary 313)
This is what Jesus told St Faustina as she cried when the artist failed to capture The Divine Mercy vision she received on 22 February 1931.

This original painting was done by Eugeniuz Kazimirowski, a Polish artist.
The signature, 'Jesus I Trust In You' has been translated from Polish to English and added to the Image at a later stage. When Jesus appeared to St Faustina on 22 February 1931 He said,
