Divine Mercy Message in Jesus' Own Words...

Jesus told St Faustina:

"Souls who spread the honour of My mercy I shield through their entire lives as a tender mother her infant, and at the hour of death I will not be a Judge for them, but a merciful Saviour. At that last hour, a soul has nothing with which to defend itself except My mercy. Happy is the soul that during its lifetime immersed itself in the Fountain of Mercy, because Justice will have no hold on it." (Diary 1075)

"... do whatever is within your power to spread devotion to My mercy. I will make up for what you lack. Tell aching mankind to snuggle close to My merciful Heart, and I will fill it with peace." (Diary 1074)

"Only do as much as you can, and I will always arrange things so that you will easily be able to do what I ask of you." (Diary 1693)

"Be at peace, My daughter. This Work of Mercy is Mine; there is nothing of you in it..." (Diary 1667)

Initiate a Divine Mercy Apostolate in your own little way...

  • Learn about The Divine Mercy by reading St Faustina's diary, Divine Mercy In My Soul, and other materials that talk about the Divine Mercy Message and Devotion - ensure they're from copyright distributors in order to preserve the integrity of Jesus' Holy Message.
  • Obtain a video on Divine Mercy - gather family and friends to introduce Jesus' Divine Mercy Message
  • Distribute devotional materials which can be obtained from the Divine Mercy Materials page of this website or from any Divine Mercy distributor or bookstore selling Catholic religious products. The reason for doing this is that people tend to be indifferent about it as they are not usually familiar with The Divine Mercy. The Image of Jesus will touch their hearts as they to look into His eyes and read the inscription, Jesus I Trust In You! Examples of these are:
    • leaflets about the Message and Devotion
    • The Divine Mercy Chaplet and Novena
    • prayer cards, eg The Three O'clock Prayer and the Prayer for Conversion
    • walletsize Image of Jesus, The Divine Mercy
    • Divine Mercy Sunday information leaflets
  • Donate Images and different Divine Mercy leaflets to:
    • individuals, especially the sick and the dying
    • prayer groups
    • retirement homes or nursing homes
    • hospitals
    • Legion of Mary's hospital visitation group, and
    • churches.
  • Pray for the conversion of sinners and the salvation of souls
  • Gather a group of friends or family to pray for the elderly, the sick and the dying, or
  • Encourage everyone to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy unceasingly for those who are dying.

We have donated framed Images of Jesus, The Divine Mercy to prayer groups devoted to Mother Mary so 'the Son travels with His Mother' as members take turns hosting their prayer meetings. These groups now pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet with the Holy Rosary.

As part of our Divine Mercy apostolate, we have also created our own Divine Mercy Kit which we donate to the sick and the dying. The Kit consists of:

    • A small Divine Mercy Image in a plastic frame
    • The Three O'clock Prayer and Conversion Prayer
    • St Faustina's Prayer for Healing
    • The Divine Mercy Chaplet and Novena leaflet
    • The Divine Mercy Message & Devotion leaflet
    • Heaven, Hell and Purgatory leaflet
    • A Rosary (previously blessed by a priest)

Finally, don't forget to ask Our Lord and Mother Mary for guidance.

    Jesus wants us to...

      • be merciful in deed, word and prayer
      • receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion frequently
      • venerate The Divine Mercy Image
      • observe the Feast of Mercy or Divine Mercy Sunday
      • pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy
      • pray the Divine Mercy Novena
      • remember the Hour of Great Mercy - say the 3 O'clock Prayer

Jesus also wants us to make His Divine Mercy known to the world. Jesus told St Faustina, "All those souls who will glorify My mercy and spread its worship, encouraging others to trust in My mercy, will not experience terror at the hour of death. My mercy will shield them in that final battle..." (Diary 1540)

Even Mother Mary told St Faustina, "Oh, how pleasing to God is the soul that follows faithfully the inspirations of His grace!"  (Diary 635)
